THE CELTIC TREE CALENDAR

THE WALNUT, searching for its homeland

24 Oct-11 Nov and 21 to 30 April

So you are living in a rut. Why worry about it?

"Pleasure or pain, profit or loss? Clearly these questions shuffle the cards of your life, openly or otherwise, if you were born during the days of the walnut tree. We could say that of everybody. But only "walnut people" are capable of so much passion in safeguarding or defending their zest for life. No sacrifice is too great in your struggle to retain what you hold dear. It sounds so paradoxical: you are ready to suffer all that pain for the sake of pleasure. Yet you hardly ever manage to succeed in that. Nevertheless, you are envied by the majority who avoid questioning themselves too seriously, because your life has depth and piquancy and frequently bears an abudance of fruit. If you want something, your persistence knows no bounds. If you love something, then this love lasts until death. This unequivocal attitude is linked to the power of your unconscious."
